Lowells - What are they like to deal with?!

Hiya,
I've just received two letters from 'Lowell Financial' DCA.
They are letting me know, that they have bought 2 debts, which I had with Empire Stores and Littlewoods, of £532 and £536 respectively.
Also enclosed, is two letters from Shop Direct, saying the same thing, and letting me know, that I need to address all payments / correspondence to Lowells from now on.
Annoyingly, both letters have been addressed to my previous / Father's address (Dad has redirected them to me).
Now, I haven't lived at that address for nearly 2 years!
Lowells have an email address on here, and so I'm thinking of just emailing them, and asking to update my address / not write to my Dad's address / to only communicate in writing / to hold off any further action for 1 month, until I see the CAB next week.
Sound reasonable?!
Cheers,
Sim x

Out of interest, how old are the debts - when was your last payment or the default on each one? could they be statute barred - 6 years

Hiya,
I don't think the 'statute barred' law applies here sadly, as these debts are only about a year old!
Last payment was about last September / October I think.
Defaults are not showing up for either on Equifax yet.
