CCCS DMP terminated

HELP PLEASE.

Received a letter this morning from CCCS saying that they have terminated our agreement due to a debt that wasn't included on the plan. I spoke to someone at CCCS about 6 weeks ago about this after the first letter they sent us about it, and as far as i knew it was sorted out then, and was added to the plan. What do i do now, i feel sick just thinking about it being terminated as this was the only thing keeping our heads above water.:(

Use the sticky Ask a CCS a question at the top of the thread. You can send them a PM if you want. Also phone up CCS and get them to explain why they are terminating of you thought it was all sorted.

Definitely give the CCCS a ring on Tuesday (as they'll be shut on Monday) and explain you thought it was all sorted out.

The CCCS may have terminated your DMP but all you need to do is set up standing orders for the amounts agreed to each of your creditors (or ring around and pay by debit card etc).

I wouldn't have thought your creditors would be concerned about whether the money comes from the CCCS on the 25th of the month or from yourself directly.

At the very least, it would give you some time to seek another form of free debt advice if the CCCS aren't willing to take you back on the DMP.

The sooner you sort out this misunderstanding the better, as your creditors will be bombarding you with demands for money as soon as they hear your DMP has been terminated.
