Where to search for new job?

I'm looking for a new part time job (admin) but I've been out of the job market for so long I don't know where to start! I've looked at my local Gumtree, Job Seekers and the websites of the local newspapers but apart from that I'm lost. I live in Scotland. Any recommendations?

also try your local council website.
further to nhs try other healthgroup sites such as spire healthcare, southercross healthcare who all advertise online for admin staff both have various sites around scotland. you could also try local companies such electricty company, sky, etc etc. You just need to be creative in your thinking, many companies have website and thus advertise on those websites. What about agencies for temping work, might help you get a foot in another door.
