Take this further with CSA, send them the evidence and demand they act upon it, I know in some cases CS liability is not reliant upon child benefit. It may be true that dd official leaving date from college is 14th May, but if she's in Greece for 6 months and not attending then surely you have a case. Also, I know that in some cases child benefit is paid for a period following completion of college, but others will know better.

Our PWC doing something similar, no child benefit paid to her since September 09 for daughter aged 17, so CSA closed case. They wrote to PWC in January 2010 to inform her case closed. PWC contacts CSA and informs them 'she hadn't realised' she had not received child benefit, child tax credits or working tax credits for 5 months, so guess what??? She gets daughter to enrol on college course, has child benefit, child tax credits and working tax credits back-dated as she lied and said daughter had been studying since September, and hey presto CSA liaility continues - result eh!!!!!!!!!

It's a sham, you could also try reporting her to Child Benefit Office for fraud, and send them the evidence

Bdt - have you checked with Tax Credits and Child Benefit to see what the time limits are on backdating? I was under the impression those benefits can only be backdated 3 months max. I can't imagine they would let her get off with the excuse "I forgot to let you know".

Thanks Shell, will check with them.

Not sure how a PWC 'didn't realise' she hadn't been paid tax credits, working tax credits and child benefit for 5 months, I have 4 children in my household, ages 4,15,18 & 19, 2 of these qualify for child benefit, 1 of eldest also as studying, and cannot think how we would stay afloat financially without this money - PWC obviously better off than she letting on!!!

That'll be cos eldest dd living on her own, youngest dd living with PWC and her 'partner' that PWC has never decalred. PWC is renting out her home whilst living at her partners, and guess what all CSA communication goes to eldest dd address, so suspect she also claiming her CB, Tax credits etc from that address as if PWC living with 2 dd's. If hat makes sense to anyone out there, she's pulling a faast one, scr****g the system, committing fraud and also the CSA (me & my wife included), just in process of proving it all, and stitching the lying, cheating, poisonous creature up finally. She has been so wicked to me over the years since our split some 17 years ago, no-one would believe the things she's done, so I'm actually not surprised at this stunt she's also pulled.

Greed and bitterness are not attractive traits, maybe why I left her in the 1st place :D Thank goodness for my wife who has been there for me unconditionally, not many woman have put up with the flack she's had due to the PWC
