Is it possible to obtain a mortgage when you are 59, working and with 60%+ deposit. My main question is what would be the maximum term I could potentially acheive? :j

It depends on how you intend to fund the mortgage after your normal retirement age. If you have suffucient income from pension arrangements then you could potentially have quite a long term. Coventry BS, for instance, will allow you to go to 85 years of age.Happily an ex mortgage broker!0
