I woke up at some ungodly hour this morning I think the meds are making my blood play up again as I was itching like mad & they do that sometimes. I will need to put some cream on the doc gave me to help cool it down to stop the itch yuk

I just noticed all the typos in my post last night. I knew I was tired but not how much. It is a side effect from my stroke. When I get a bit tired I type & it looks fine to me but not to others. My family just translate it and don't say anything lol some of the words can be quite comical

My eldest dgs fractured his wrist yesterday as he had gone ice skating with the school for activities week. They rang my daughter straight away but she said to just send him home when they got back & she'd take him to A&E to be checked over. Good start to the 6 week hols but at least it's his left & not his right. He would have been REALLY upset if he couldn't draw as he loves it & is pretty good at it too. Quite the artist.

My youngest dgs told his teacher he was missing his dad even though they stay here most weekends & the mums bf lives with them so he went over yesterday to play footie with them after he finished work.

I think I will be having a very lazy day today as I have no energy. I think it is because it fels so heavy weather wise.

hiya yep, thurday is mad day, just starting full house
am a bit obsessive in the way i do them always start with full house, then do pick me up, then that's life, real people,chat & last take a break :eek: habit for years, think it'll bring me bad luck if i do them another way round or miss one out :rotfl:
DH thinks i'm a bit mad :eek::rotfl:

Well I suppose it is better to have a system than to not have one. I don't really have a system which probably explains why I never get properly caught up with the comps......

Morning! hope all is well,I am not doing alot today other than popping in to my church to see my friends and say bye to two friends as well I am also waiting in for my BT Hudson 1500 twin telephones to be delivered and they could come anytime today so got things organised so that I can go out and not worry that I will be carded and have to rearrange delivery again.

Sorry if this is the wrong place but when i've seen comps placed on the boards instead of the full url i have seen words like "clicky" and "here" highlighted with the direct link, how do i do this?

Personally I like it when the comp promotors name is the clicky,By doing this it is possible to skip the sites that I have issues with without opening the post up if that makes sense.Here is a guide via velvet glove...........

9 How do I do a 'clicky' instead of putting the full URL?
On the image below, follow the numbered steps.

Right click & copy the URL of the comp you want to post.

1. Type the text that you want to be your neat link / clicky, For Example, ‘Hamper Clicky’ on the post & then highlight it. (I also make the word/s bold too at this point so they show up better in the post as a link).
2. Click the icon of a world with a paper clip under it & a box will appear.

Remove 'http://' that is already in the box & then paste the comp URL in. Then click 'OK'. Your neat link / clicky is now done.
