Evening everyone
Is anyone else finding the noise of those blowers in the world cup very annoying? It just sounds like a swarm of bees!
:rotfl::rotfl:him too, these were his exact words, I didn't hear anything as I did not watch
These benefits people can be proper pain in the a-se Wingo, don't let them bother you..Hopefully, someone can provide you with a clearer idea etc and things will settle into a routine once you start work, no more late nights here then  We will reserve you one night a week
 only having some herbal tea though :eek: had a couple of painkillers and couldn't have any drink
Sorry redbull no idea x hope you won x0 -
thanks, it wasnt for me i dont gamble lol
it was my friend here who wanted them, she didnt win abean0 -
Aww Wingo just ignore the
It is complicated. I don't really understand how they calculate these things but these people are nutorious for making mistakes (why do you think there's a section on the council page called housing benefits overpayment? cause it is typical of them)
I am not trying to put you off Wingo hun but I had a hard time working over 16 hours and less than full time when I was a student and I really regret it...it just created imbalance between what we earned and what we paid. Not sure what the case is or whethe it makes any difference if hubby is going full time. Now I just do as much as I can but then again, I don;'t have children.
I still don't understand how they work it out but it is worth a thorough exploration..maybe ask to see an advisor in the job centre?
Good luck, when do you start?0 -

I've been asked to start monday. The head teacher was really nice when I mentioned it but like I said in that thread, if it was a problem I would have happily accepted to give up the ctc but for the sake of 2 hours. I would IMO be worse off if I did those 2 hours extra. I just want to get somewhere in life with having to give up nursing but its hard to explain to some people.
How are you hun? Had any wins today?Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Hope you get it sorted, I totally understand how you feel.
Hopefully you will be able to establish what the best scenario is early this week if you can, and then you can adjust your hours if possible? Good luck x
I am ok, thanks for asking hun, just having sore back when I breathe and had to change a dr's appointment today I couldn't go..was too uncomfortable... I slept on the sofa last night B-) This may not have helped.
No wins yet but I have good vibes for all of us tomorrow (fingers crossed)..
Well, am expecting the cheese at least:o:D

Its turned really nasty in the thread that I asked a question.
here
Jeez hun, I've just spent the last 20 minutes reading this, what a load of !!!!!!. You asked for advice, NOT for them to tell you what to do, and I'm sure you wouldn't do something without lots of researching, that poor aphrodite was trying to help & they pounced, it was bloody awful.
Poor you hunni. I asked in the benefits threads once with regards to my CTC & DLA & people were so mean, I never ever read that thread again, I got too upset.
Hold your head high chick & go see CAB or Go to the jobcentre they'll explain everything
Hope you're well aside this Wingo, benefits is a total headache, I hate it, I hate the stigma attached to it too, I get a lot of crap off a lot of people for being on benefits, people are far too quick to judge, they can't say anything until they've been in your situation

Just want to add, make sure you speak to someone who really knows what they're talking about hun, cos we got whacked with a £1,200 bill off CTC telling us they'd overpaid, & there was nothing I could do, wanted me to pay it all in one go, bast!!ds. We have to pay £10 a month, most prob for the rest of our life
