Well done on the ipod win ppd you more than deserve it.

Well, I have managed to stay a day ahead for comps ending date so far touch wood will probably slip a bit again when I do my housework ad gardening stuff that needs to be done. Why does everything take so long to do when you want to do something else instead?

It is Happy Happy Joy Joy Monday today so hope we all get some sort of win x

Off to comp before I take the jeans back to the shop that I bought on Friday and change them for a bigger size... too much chocolate and biscuits I think.

Hey all, been on the comp boards for about 6-8 weeks now so thought I'd better say hi!

I was a member of another comps site for just under a year and was paying for my membership, and then I discovered these boards and wondered why I was wasting my money (and I didn't win anything through them anyway!) Luckily, they had a money-back guarantee for the first year of membership so I got it all back last week!

I've read several messages from disheartened members here and I must so I totally empathise! Had a couple of very small wins around xmas but considering I've been comping for about a year it does get very disheartening at times! I do treat it as a hobby with the wins being a bonus, but a win now and again just to keep you going is nice

I guess I'll keep plugging away for now and see what happens.....

Ohh thanks Korky I love Marmite - I just tried to register and it let it all go through?! :j

I'm praying today i'll win a mobile phone... I had a fatal incident last night involving a cup of coffee and my mobile phone.:( Now, despite multiple attempts at resusitation, it is gone. I feel so ... detactched from the world. I just hope I was clever enough to have saved the numbers onto the sim rather than the phone...:o
I don't have a spare one, so have to run out at lunch and buy a cheap one

Afternoon, been at my Dad's this morning he's not well again so called docs & he's got an appointment for 3.50 today. Don't think he's happy I've done that but it's the 3rd time in around 6 months he's been ill with a nasty cough/chest infection so I want doc to have a look see if it's an underlying problem.

Those on you on my facebook will see I have some good news, hopefully it means we should be moving this summer now but need to wait a few more days to find out for sure - please all keep your fingers crossed this works out otherwise we're back at square one with it.

Had a call from 2 of my Auntie's over the weekend to be told my Grandad as cancer, should find out this week if it's spread more but at the moment it's in his mouth & jaw :-( I haven't seen him for ages & it's his birthday in a few weeks so hoping to be able to see him then. It's my Mum's Dad (there's 4 sisters, my Mum & 3 Aunties) so can see more aggro from her coming up which I can't deal with right now.

My DH's collegue is still in hospital in the next town with cancer, there was talk of him moving to the hospital near us last week but that never happend. DH still hasn't been to see him, he's terrified of going still so hoping others at work will go with him soon.

Anyone else got any news? Feel like I've just written a novel lol
