I knew it was an ulcerated bowel, because a girl I know has it, but she isn't as bad as you. I didn't know you could get the sores in your mouth as well. That must be so painful. ((((Hugs))))

    Does anything set it off?

Anything to do with the bowel is undignified, especially if you're British. *rolleyes*

Hobnobs :rotfl: I didn't realise this til before tho ;) Can be anything, some things are ok foodwise, others kill me. Bread is a big one, and peanut butter which I love

The things that triggers it most with me is stress. If I get stressed then within 5 or 10 minutes I'm in agony. It's bloody hard to not get stressed in this house :rotfl:

The mouth ulcers just make me feelrun down more than anything, annoying.

Agreed, british are very anal (scuse the pun ;))

    How are you hun?

That sounds painful sweetie, must be embarrassing for you at times. IU think once you have your kids everything goes south anyway and your body's never your own!

Too true!! I've ended up with a trillion things wrong with me since having kids, and none of them are pretty :rotfl: No wonder I never go out the house ;)

What gets me more than anything is that i will never be cured, that it's going to be like this forever, it's hard to deal with. There's nothing that can even really help it, there's 3 options:
You can be pumped full of steroids (would rather be in pain, steroids are evil)
Go on a liquid diet for 6 months (special nutri drink things _pale_)
or have an op, but they only operate as a last resort, like when you have scar tissue & your bowel narrows causing a blockage, or an abcess etc (these happen lots with Crohn's)

When I went into hozzy 18 months ago, they starved me for 10 days without any drip or drinks or anything, it was a total nightmare, all I wanted was food, am such a pig. They wanted me to take those drinks home with me and stay on a liquid diet for 6 months, but I knew there was no way in a million years I would stick to it. Sounds bad :o But it wasn't worth trying when I knew I couldn't do it.
I got pregnant not long after & everything disappeared, just the odd twing every now n then, was amazing xx
    :) xx JoJo xx :)

Just want to say :o I am really sorry I've just offered more than I've been asked.

Just the first time since I've been diagnosed that someone has asked about it. No-one ever talks about it & OH never mentions it & is a bit fed up of me constantly moaning.

Didn't realise I had so much to say about it  xx

    Don't apologise.

    I wanted to know.

You've really been through the mill with it. (((((Hugs))))

It must be so hard to cope with something that you know will never get better. You must be amazingly strong to deal with it.

    And a baby.

You should be so proud of yourself.:cool::cool:

It has been awful in March I had to try to earn few more months with him...just keep on trying not to think about it but it is reality and I have to face it....it just weighs me down sometimes but thank God it is not the worst of scenarios...there are people who have a lot more to worry about

Would you have paid the debt off in those two years?
