Hello everyone, i hope you don't mind me popping by to ask you a question, has anyone had any communication from Jaffa? My Dad sent off his bits for a win and it was signed for 2weeks ago, but he hasn't heard anything. He was a bit concerned as he had a bit of the address wrong (he's in his 70's and has just moved) but sent the claim off as i said they would contact him if they weren't going to honour it? I noticed a few people have started to receive prizes so Thanks for any help x

dazzle, I haven't had my goal post from a couple of weeks ago yet. I expect they have so many to send out that they could take up to about 6 wks. Give it a couple of weeks and then maybe contact them. HTH

Well I was in bed for 7 last night with an awful migranie. Thankfully its gone today. Even missed BGT!

Got the house to myself as OH has took kids to his mums for dinner (I never get an invite!). Oh well, I can get on with comping!

My MIL is like that, but OH wont go without me So she has to have me there. I never go tho

I don't think I make her feel inadequate tho, she's super confident, and normally super nasty with it. She took a disliking to me because I was quiet and hardly spoke when I met her. She made my life hell for at least 4 of the 6 years I've been with OH, she just hardly speaks to me now. I'd prefer that tho,. I used to get calls at 2am (sometimes later),. at lease twice a week for years, off one of his family shoutin that I was a sl@g and loads of other profanities.If I ever went round there they'd start having a go at me, asking why I was using her son/brother etc

Maybe they're better now cos they must realise I love him if I put up with that for so long

OMG Sweetie, you are really patient! What a reason to dislike someone!! (for being quiet?) I am also go quiet when I feel uncomfortable in someone' presence...

Quite disappointed with the 2000 Guineas, I really wanted Cecil to win it

I lost about £40 on horses today although I had 2 winners and a few seconds (My niece said she had a dream that she rode a horse called Black ...so I found a horse racing called Blackdown Boy and put it EW, it came 3rd 33-1) Anyway, I feel a bit guilty :eek::eek:

Sorry to hear about your MIL's girls, must say mine was exactly the same, me and hubby go a long way back and we split for two years as she made him choose me or her!! :eek:

Mind you we ignored it eventually and got back together and had our dd, now me and mIL get on for getting on's sake, mind you I decided to stay home and comp today than make an appearance :rotfl:

Hope your migrains shifts soon wingo hun, I get awful migraines - doesn't help sitting at the computer mind but I can't help it, the competitions... they call me!

Ooo nawty bank holiday, I'm eager to see if I won anything from those 63 pages of 30th April comps!! Soo impatient :rotfl:

Aw thanks T. Yeah MIL doesn't like me for marrying her son! Doesn't bother me anymore, I get all my ironing done on a sunday!

Well just caught up with postals comps so im off to bingo with sis! My night out...how sad am I?
