which dress?

I'm going to a wedding in 4 weeks, and i've bought 2 dresses today, i'm not sure which one i like the best.
The black one, is lovely but it is heavy, and looks more like a winter dress
The orange one is lovely, but it's a pointed hem line, and i prefer a straight one, i could probably get it straightened, but not sure if it would make it short then.
Any advice guys. http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_008010237160_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7EWomen%7EOccasion+%26amp%3B+evening+wear

thanks
because i'm shorter and much bigger than the model, the bottom doesn't seem to hang the same on me.0 -
Then see if you can get it straightened. Still love the dress, fun and funky!!0

Love the black one Chris ~ especially as you looked so stunning in your black outfit for your daughter's wedding!
I think the black and pink one would look gorgeous on you, maybe with a pink fascinator or something? xTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

i like the black one, and i think because it has lots of colour with the sash and the flowers, it doesnt look wintery at allgetting married: 02/10/10
weight loss goal: 2st

I wont be much help as I think both are equally as nice.
Orange one is maybe a little more weddingy but I love the cut of the black/pink one. Like Shellsuit says, I think you could jazz the black one up with some matching pink accessories/fascinators etc.0 -
I like the black one the best, it does fit me better than the orange one, but it is really heavy (believe it or not), the material is thick and it has 2 layers underneath, but it does look lovely on
The pink on it is going to be hard to match up, and is is a pale pink, and everything out and about is fushia pink
the orange one, is nice as well, very lightweight and but i don't like handkechief bottoms
decissions decissions decissions,
god imagine if i was getting married i'd be a nightmare for you all...lol0 -
I love the orange one, but making the hemline straight would ruin it IMVHO, so I also (reluctantly) vote for the black one.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0
