Hmm..you didn't check Cromer, then. If Lowestoft's too far, I've just reserved one for you in Cromer. Drop me a PM for the number. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

What a gentlemen0 -
what do i need antenna wise? Lets assume i'm in a freeview areaYou would need an outdoor aerial as a minimum .
Not if he already has a decent signal for the portable Tv from indoor aerial, if already ok then indoor aerial is fine. We get excellent pics from indoor aerial used with freeview and we are in a decent (not out of this world) signal area.
This guide rated 32 of them and the best one was a £9.99 model at argos

I'm off to North Wales tomorrow, so have reserved a Sony box up there. I've got both pace and panasonic freeview boxes at home here (weak signal area too) so I hope the Sony works as well (if not better) than what I've got at the moment. I have to say that so far I'm very happy with the panasonic tuct41 - which I got for £35 from Argos a few months ago - it's back to £70 now :-(
I am still subscribing to Sky, but to be honest, it looks like I'm going give them the nudge, as they just keep on raising prices -the quality of the programming is debatable (even the football coverage) against how much you pay per year. Freeview gives us what we want - a good general selection of programs, in widescreen.

This is a post from the AVforums concerning the Sony VTX D800 Freeview box, it seems there weren’t that many units left around the country (180 in total) even at the start of the clearance sale.10-08-2006, 07:04 PM #30

Trader Rating: (0) No worries Kev...glad I could save you the £29. In fact that applies to everyone. With regards to stock when I spoke to my contact on Tuesday they had about 180 units left around the country but that will have dramatically dropped now. Didnt mention a restriction either..normally only applies to mobiles. However it is excluded from the Argos 16 day gurantee, unless it is tested as faulty.0 -
There'll be one going back into stock tomorrow at Argos in Lowestoft, if anyone's interested. I've had the other one.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
