Would love to come to both as well, but June is unfortunately a no go time for me this year.

Jackie and Marie, can I have your cake ?0

You can most definitely have mine, I'm sworn off the stuff after spending too many years eating my share, and everyone else's! :rotfl::(It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Either would be good for me, I think.
I can also bring cake, although it would be made by my OH - he is a baker! (hangs head in OS shame...) I could bring chilli jam - my one triumph.

Oh a baker, I had better be careful.........got to be Womens Insitute standard then?????:D:DWas 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
chilli jam on scones ... errr ... maybe not!!!
I was thinking more of a gift - much better with cheese! On the other hand, I do have a load of rhubarb that needs picking, so how would rhubarb and ginger jam be?
Re the cakes - is anyone to WI standards?? I still maintain that my mum's shortbread is better than his, although the carrot cake is to die for. He lured me into becoming his better half using a combination of sausage rolls and
yum-yums.
