It's worth noting that Nikon produce two similar versions of the 55-200mm zoom lens:-- so a good idea to check which one you want (I would recommend the VR version, it's more expensive, but the VR is a real benefit especially at the longer telephoto settings), and which version you are actually being offered for sale.
- one with VR (Vibration Reduction) = 55-200mm f/4-5.6 AF-S VR DX NIKKOR
- one without = 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED AF-S DX NIKKOR (Black)
Camerabox.co.uk sell the VR version for £145 delivered, and the other for £130. These are good prices, but I don't have any personal experience of this web seller.

I got one of these (the VR lens) from Simplyelectronics a couple of months ago for £137 and it arrived next day. I just looked at their site and saw they are now selling it for £220!:eek:
When I bought mine, Camerabox and Simplyelectronics were the same price... I'd heard bad reports about Camerabox so steered clear. It's worth noting that Nikon produce two similar versions of the 55-200mm zoom lens:-- so a good idea to check which one you want (I would recommend the VR version, it's more expensive, but the VR is a real benefit especially at the longer telephoto settings), and which version you are actually being offered for sale.- one with VR (Vibration Reduction) = 55-200mm f/4-5.6 AF-S VR DX NIKKOR
