Sympathy mrs lds - my husband is the same - it's so bad, he often sleeps in DS's room when DS is away at uni just so I can get a decent night's sleep. In fact, my sons and I are already (semi-humourously) arguing over who has to share with him whilst on holiday, lol! My vote was for making him kip in the car.......:rotfl:

We have tried a lot of stuff for hubbie, sick of trying and now the only way is earplugs for me :D went to gp and all he said was keep up the good work with the earplugs and would not investigate, think hubbie has had too many bashes in rugby days.

My mum snores as well and even had the laser operation which cost a fortune and that stopped working soon after! :(

It depends upon the severity of snoring and how long it has gone on for, to decide what you need to try. The best option is to speak to your doctor and ask for a referral to a sleep clinic or specialist, because many devices on the market seem to be useless.

It could be that you have sleep apnoea or some other underlying cause. Also, being overweight can exacerbate snoring, so shaping up to a healthy weight can certainly help in more ways than one.

Toenails up the shins seems to work on my H2B, stops him snoring for about a minute, just enough for me to get back to sleep. If not kick him out of bed......................... lol!

My hubby recently started using the Breathe Right strips and they do seem to work for him... hasn't woken me up snoring since...

Try 'breathe right strips' - if you go over to the freebies board there is a current offer to get a free sample.
