Finally a small Endowment has matured, but could someone tell me if these figures look correct?
It was 23 year Minimum cost Endowment with a Target amount of £3,000, and a monthly payment of £6.15.
Last year it was valued at £1.897.96.
Its maturity value is £1948.82 plus the Mortgage Endowment promise of £290, giving a total of £2238.82.
So in the last year I paid in £73.80 but it's value went up by £50.86, and that £50.86 included the Terminal bonus. Does this look about correct?

I think it would be difficult for anyone on the forums to confirm that the figures are correct, but it is certainly possible to pay more into an endowment than you get back. I had an abbey endowment. At one point, over the course of two years I paid £91.50 per month into my endowment only to find that in that period it had lost £2,000 of its estimated value.0
