Cheap tix Les Mis London Sat mat 3rd July adult(s) + child 8-16

Ok, hidden agenda here as there must be 5 participants for this to run - and you're not limited to Sat 3 July, but that's when my 12 year old DD is going (if 4 more children book!)
This is the Les Miserables Kids Club - full details are below copied from the website http://www.lesmis.com/london-uk/education/schools-and-kids-club
I think it's a brilliant Grabbit - as long as you've got a child 8-16 to take - £40 gets the child a backstage tour and workshop plus tickets for you and child to see the show, and free childcare thrown in!
I also found it available on redletterdays where the package for the child is £60 and there's no mention of a cheap ticket for the adult(s).
I've phoned the number & spoke to a really nice man who says the only confirmed date they have for the Kids Club (ie the only date when they definitely have 5 children booked) is 22 May, but he took my details for 3 July and will contact me nearer the time to tell me whether it's going ahead. Worst case scenario is that the club doesn't run - but I can still have the tix discounted at Kids Club rate - £10 each, I think. Bargain & can't lose. Alternatively if the club doesn't run I don't have to take the tix at all.
Hope this is useful to someone and realy really hope that 4 more children sign up because my DD loves the idea!

Really? I love the music but have never seen the production. My daughter is theatre mad and I'm so looking forward to taking her!0
-
Probably the best musical I've seen in the West End and on Broadway

That's great - could end up with a whole group of MSErs!0 -
Les Mis is a great musical, but i'm not sure it would be suitable for children. Probably depends on the child, but you might want to investigate before booking.0
-
I thought the same to be honest - not sure I'd take an 8 year old to it but a theatre-mad 12 year old is another thing altogether!0

Thanks for suggestion, DD vetoed backstage tour but grudgingly agreed to see Les Mis (she is mad on Lloyd Webber and feels she is betraying him!) so we booked all four to Southampton touring version in August for £92 total for balcony seats. Seats going fast so if anyone wants to see in Southampton book early. HTH0
