You can join by updating your advantage card in one of the advantage points instore, or fill out an appliction, no id required just need your DOB. It has changed recently and is now only for the over 60's to join hth

is there any other offers that are ending on the health club
  • My daughter (who is a member of the Health Club) bought some yesterday and was charged £1.99 which I'm sure is the full price.

I do not believe I have received any communication from Boots stating they have changed the rules on their Health Club. The half price discount on the 1 litre Brecon Water appears to have also stopped. I have complained to Boots by phone and email and I suggest others do. Did anyone receive a letter from Boots about the changes? Even the staff in the shops seem oblivious to the changes.

The offer was withdrawn shortly after the first post. Boots had second thoughts and did not want to be seen to promote a product containing codeine as it is a morphine derivative and potentially addictive :(

I do recall the publicity re. changing the Health Club offers to over 60s only. Not sure whether it was in a postal communication but I was quite annoyed by it!

Had an email from customer services to say they are in the process of removing all the half price offers from Advantage Card Holders. Only then they will make their customers aware in store by post and email!

What a way to treat customers! Tell customers after you have changed the rules! Also apparently to save on further confusion there is no exact date when the half price offers will end for everyone.

Have to say im glad they stopped this offer. By law, im sure your not allowed to reduce medicines of this nature (codeine) due to the potential for abuse. Also Health club is for over 60's only now.
