HI I'm new
Well currently my partner is a f/t student, in the summer we are going to be doing casual work (summertime job) working 30 hours + throughout the week. As we have a child will we be entitled to WTC for this period?

Hmmm, bit more tricky this. If your partner is a student and returning to the same course after the summer then he will not be able to claim, however as you are not yet a student if you find work that's over 30 hours per week then you should be able to make a claim. i'm sure someone else will be along shortly to clarify HTH0

WTC always ask how long you will be working too
not sure what the amount of weeks is but they always ask how long you expect the job to last
Good for you both getting summer jobs - can't even get one of those myself!0
