Friday 30th April - What small DFW things have you done today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Goooooood morning people
Hoooray, it's Friday...and the sun's out
Hope eveyone is ok and ready for the long weekend;)
Ok, here's my list:

Have a lovely day everyone:A

Morning

Well I have been a bit lazy recently but I am determined to get back into it! It's not that I haven't been DFW, I just haven't been trying especially hard! Here is my list:-
I have:-
- Done HC on cheap leccy last night ) Trying to get ahead for
- Used tumble on cheap leccy last night ) the busy weekend!!!
- Turned off hot water last night, I put it on for washing up but then didn't do it
- Have brought in lunch from home but have run out of HM biscuits so had to buy some in the shop
- Got £2 T shirt off grabbit board last night to put away for DB's birthday
And I will:-
- Keep up with OnePoll. Been particularly lapse recently and some days not even looking at it!
- No purge opportunities today, although I have done £25 this week! Must be a record for me
- Check banking/CC's online
- Last day of the month, so normally I would try and invoice as much as poss, but in order to manipulate the target, between us we must ONLY invoice £2k today and hold the rest back.
- Take it easy today as I know this weekend is going to be manic, boss in late this morning and potentially not in this afternoon
- Get DN an extra birthday present, got him one already but needs another little thing
- Fajitas off meal plan tonight, reminded about them by Milly the other week so put them on mine
- Batch cook HM biscuits for scoffing by family this weekend, as I know we will be decended upon
Have a lovely chilled out day all

Morning all... Bit of a tight few weeks here at the minute - I've got one job finishing on 11th May, and the other starting on 1st June (my own fault for wanting 3 weeks off between them, lol!), but not paying til 30th June! The aim is to NOT dip into the holiday or emergency funds, but raise enough to manage (including £100 extra for commuting - aargghh!). So, little squeezes here and there...
Today I have...
* been for a run (free exercise!)
* eaten last of rather mushy strawberries on breakfast
* bought £1 milk, £1 loo roll, £1 noodles and a bit of fruit
and I will...
* do some transcribing work later
* not spend anything else!
* cobble together lunch from nearly empty cupboards (cous cous, egg, chocolate custard, tropical fruit jelly anyone??)
* spend the day PhD-ing
* walk to the pub tonight to watch Mr Daffs' band, but only drink soda water
Have a good day all

Give a charity shop round cushion a boob job use old wadding - its painfully floppy at the mo!!

Sure there will be other stuff - but that will do for now!! I hope you all have a great day and I'm off to catch up so far!
PS forgot
