Should I fully offset?

We have a First Direct offset tracker mortgage, currently at about 2.9%, with about 84K owing. We're relocating and have sold our house and will be renting short term before buying again. Our sale will result in us being able to fully offset or redeem this mortgage.
What are the pros/cons for fully offsetting or redeeming?
Would it better to keep this mortgage in case there arent any better products in 6 months time?
