Multi Purpose Compost at Tesco

I was in my local Tesco earlier and they had 20l Dobbies multi-purpose compost bags for £2.50 each but on offer at 2 for £4.00. I didn't realise there was 20% off all gardening stuff, so an additional £1 was deducted, so actually only cost me £3 for the 2 bags. I might just head back tomorrow and get another 2!! - I am spending my weekend planting seeds as I have decided to start growing my own veg this year for the first time ever....so we'll see how it goes!

we started our own veggie patch this year well i say we but i done all the hard work bought all my bits from poundstrecher was cheaper than any where else think it was about 70p for the same size bag if not similar. may not have been the same make but compost is compost to me.

Aldi has 40 litres compost for £1.99. Quality seems good as well.

Small bags are never good value...Asda MPC £4 for 75L. 2 for £6.

Morrison's do there own brand compost 40l two for a fiver.

Thanks for this Im off to Tesco today so will check it out. Our local council gave us all huge compost bins about 3 year ago so we make a lot of it ourselves always running out though
