Hi, I've received an email this evening that tells me I've won a Mini. I know i have entered some competitions to win one but i am dubious that the email is genuine and haven't clicked on the link it asks me to - i have only previewed the email and not fully opened it either.
Has anyone else received this email? What do you think.
Email is from Selection winner MINI [no-reply@b4umail.com]
Hi,
Our system randomly selected your email address from almost 25,000 users to take home a fabulous Mini Cooper (model of your choice).
Taking part is completely "FREE" and the car will be delivered at your nearest Official Dealer!

http://www.win1mini.co.uk but hovering over it leads to something like m.b4umail.com
I'm thinking its a scam but would really like it to be true - i've tried googling but haven't found anything useful

I had the same email yesterday - it's a scam I think - if you click on the link, you get to a page that lets you enter again and then brings up lots of popups to enter other things...you've not won I'm afraid0

It is a scam
Winning emails are not worded like that. I have never had a genuine one that said you have been selected from 25,000 users. If it was genuine it would say something like Congratualtions you have a won a Mini. If you would like to send your contact details, blah, blah. Also, something as valuable as car would be relayed to you by letter or phone call not an email. And, thirdly, I get these car type emails regularly - so you and I must be very very lucky
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0 -
