will changing my current account affect my loan?

Hi all,

I appreciate you may not be able to answer my question specifically but if anyone knows in general the answer that would be great!

I have a current account with HSBC but would like to switch to A&L's current account (£100 cashback, no overdraft fees etc).

However, I have a 5 year loan with HSBC (half way through). Is it likely that the two are linked in some way? or should i be free to switch accounts and carry on paying my loan off as usual?

thanks for any help

Will

There shouldn't be a problem with this, as long as you keep making the payments from the new account.
