Advice/Info on free advertising.....how to get my website noticed.

Hi Guys,

Ive just launched a new little business venture trying to sell Paintings and Drawings of peoples dogs via my website. People simply send me their photo(s) of their dog and will I create a drawing or painting from the photo(s). Ive recently done some paintings/drawings for friends/family and they were all received very positively and went down well so I thought why not take it a step further and see if people may actually be prepared to pay me to do a painting/drawing of their much loved doggy!!

The website ive created is very simple/basic due to not having a great knowledge of web design etc. Im now looking for ways to advertise my service, preferably with no costs involved as I really want to keep any costs to a minimum. Any advice/info you could give me on getting visitors to my site and possible customers would be greatly appreciated.

Try Social networking sites. Network with dog lovers.

Open a twitter account and talk about dogs. Mention your art.

Deviant art is an art community. Try posting some watermarked ones on there as samples and mention on there that they're for sale.

Put some on eBid / eBay.
