  • went to mr T today...only one on the rotisserie shelf............which OAP was looking for, so I got it down for her, gave it to her and went off without mine! lol was a 35min wait at ours for any more, but at least I went against some of my MSE principles and helped the grey community! lol

    I've been Money Tipped!
To call these Large chickens is laughable.

I thought about buying one until I saw the size.

Still not bad for £2 as your saving on your energy bills but no way are they more than a medium sized chicken.

Maybe they were large when raw, but shrunk during cooking?
  • ill be honest - i questioned the large bit too - but there was plenty of meat on them. :-D

When walking round doing supermarket shopping I am always happy to help those who can't reach a shelf as I know one day I will need a helping hand. :T

Weighed in at just under 1.5 therfore medium.
Clearly marked on the bag as large.
\Just like politics at the moment, don't believe what the new can says, stick with what you know - and we will never know Tesco.

I got one in Redcar tesco today and it was rank ... there was so much grease in the bag and around the chicken ... seemed that they had been fed on lard!
