Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.

£600. Or £1200 for man and wife. No discount for quantity I'm afraid...it's £600 per person subject to fee remittance if you qualify.
If someone from a debt management company quoted you that, tell them to go !$%£&*. A visit to your CAB or one of the other many charities will help you for free and the judge looks more kindly on advice given impartially. Sometimes the CAB has a long waiting list so the charities, including CAB, who advise over the phone are equally good. Alternatively, check out your local neighbourhood charity advice centres...the ones who give benefit advice usually help with insolvency as well, even down to filling in forms and arranging your court appointment.
Good luck if BR is on your mind. It's not as bad as you'd think.

    well it costs you £600.

But before any of your creditors are paid the OR take thier fees aswell. Which is around £1250, which comes from assets if you have any.

    Cheers sizzler:)
