With my employer I get paid every 4 weeks on a Friday. I receive my payslip on Thursday lunch time and with Natwest, it normally becomes available to me sometime after banking hours start on the Friday.
Online banking is a good indication, in my case, when I have been on nights and got paid, I've checked my account sometime during the night and it has not been showing. But if I check around 9 in the morning it then shows as cleared.
It does depend on the bank though, because some colleagues of mine are able to get the money out 1 min after midnight on the Friday.0
