Glad I read your post, it saved me wasting money buying todays paper. Lets hope it works at Asda, otherwise what is the point for them printing the coupon in the paper in the first place if it doesn't give the reduction it promises !! It didn't get rejected because I hadn't bought the mag, it just wouln't scan full stop !!

I've got a barcode scanner at home that I use for a shopping survey company and both today's Sunday Express and Star on Sunday £1 off OK vouchers scan fine and produce the number printed beneath the code.
The barcode & numbers are different for each.

I also checked yesterday's Daily Star voucher, yet another barcode and number, and that was fine as well !
