Hi all
can someone please help i need to remove my partners name from the mortgage we have split ammicably and she no longer wants to be on the mortgage. It currently stands as a first charge, 2nd charge and a charging order. how would i go about taking her name off the mortgage and how much would it cost.

Talk to the mortgage lender and they will explain the process.0

It will be assessed on the remaining parties income (basically to see if they can afford it). There would be a small fee to the lender, but expect solicitors fees (a solicitor would tell you the amount).0

I would think you will have great diffiuclty as you will need permision from all three of the charges on your property.
the first mortgage would probably be OK if your income is sufficient to meet their criteria
but I can see no reason why the other two would want to agree.0 -
Yep, this is going to be tricky if not impossible.poppy100
