Guess Glasses from £18.00... Help Needed please!

Have found a website offering Guess glasses starting from £18 here: http://secretsales.com/ for the next two days or so,

Just wondering if anyone could help - I'm very interested in one of the £22.00 pairs, but wondering how much/if I can get prescription lenses added.

Could anyone point me to a low cost solution? I have quite a high prescription so will probably need lens thinning too. If anyone knows of any high street or internet places that do low cost LENS fitting only (already have my recent prescription to hand) I will be very grateful.

Thank you

why not print out the details and visit your local optician. The technician should be able to tell you whether it's possible and give you a quote - but there's no obligation to take up a quote if you can find it cheaper.

Ciliary blue were cheap when I got my thin lenses last year. The local opticians sometimes charge more for re-glazing than for a new pair of glasses!

That is a possibility for someone else but unfortunately don't have time to make it today. :( I could go tomorrow but you can bet they will sell out.
Thanks though I hadn't thought of that.

  • I was given a pair of Guess frames & took them to specsavers to have my prescription lenses put in. It cost me £40 to have standard lenses (no extras) added. That was in April & they were ready in a few days.

Thanks for all your help, but the whole thing has so far been quite dissapointing. I ordered these glasses that day - 29th April, and STILL haven't received them. Got an email a few days ago from SS saying they are having trouble sourcing them from the supplier?! And that it would be at least 28th May BEFORE dispatch.

    Won't use this website again.
