Recommendations for venues in bath?

Hello all,
I am after some suggestions for some less obvious wedding venues in bath - or close ish to the area.
We have looked at the obvious choices such as royal crescent, assembly rooms, guildhall but in all they seem a bit large for our wedding party and quite pricey too!
Details of wedding as follows :
50 guests - day guests (no additional evening)
Civil ceremony, then wedding breakfast followed by some dancing
Preferably with out door garden with a country house/nice looking building or hotel as backdrop.
We are looking something that will hit the £3,500 mark all up....
Any help appreciated! Thank you for help in advance!!!:A
P.S We found Bailbrook house which was the right price, but after going to visit it decided it wasn't for us

we loved it here but couldn't afford it for all our guests - however may be affordable for 50 guests (always haggle too!

Have you tried looking at Bath Spa Uni Newton Park campus? Not 100% if they do weddings, but its a beautiful estate 3 miles out of the centre, with a large main house and gardens, lake , castle, etc....it may be worth a look, as it certainly has the backdrop and really close to the centre of town.
