Budget Bridal Boutiques

I've just started looking for my dress, and have found it quite challenging to find bridal shops that stock dresses within my budget. I thought it might be quite a good idea to compile a list of "Budget Bridal Boutiques" that stock dresses under £500 that we could use as reference.

I've started with some that I know of, but please add your suggestions to the thread, ideally with the price-points and a link to the website if they have one, and I'll update this post.

Note: This thread is simply a list of shops that stock dresses of a particular price point. I have no personal experience of their products or services (yet!) and so the listing does not constitute an endorsement.

Nationwide
Berketex Bridal (link) Sale gowns from £149

Co. Durham
Victoria's Bridal (link) Various price points - Sales dresses under £300

Derbyshire
Precious Bridal Rooms, Chesterfield (link) £200-£700

Hampshire
Brides of Portsmouth, Portsmouth (link) Sale dresses from £99

Leicestershire
Wedding Dress Factory Outlet, Hinckley (link) £150-£400

South Yorkshire
New York Bride, Eckington (link) £100-£500

Sorry if there's already something like this knocking about - I did a search and couldn't find anything! Also, if threads like this aren't allowed, then Mods I apologise & please delete!

Would sale dresses count? The 'Brides Of Portsmouth' store, in portsmouth (obviously lol) always has sale dresses that are very nice at £300 or under :)

Think the cheapest was £99 :)

  • I live in the North East and I went to a shop called Victoria's brides in Chester le st county durham

I didnt find my 'one' in there but I tried on some very nice dresses and none of them were over £500 that wasn't a specification when I went in I just chose what I liked the look of

She had loads of them she also had a really good sale rail where they werent over £300 to buy some dresses on the sale rail weren't even discontinued ones she was just making room for new stock.

I have no connection to the shop I was just amazed as everything i've tried elsewhere has been in the £800 - £1000 price range

    web address is http://www.victoriasbridal.co.uk/
