claire - you could setup a DD for a regular monthly payment. I pay that way and then they put it up or down every few months if it is not enough or too much.

  • Dear mechanics,

    1) Ring me when my car is due for collection. I don't pay to have to chase you.
    2) Similarly, if there seems to be a problem with my tax disc, ring me and I'll explain that I've bought one but accidentally lost it. I'm forgetful, not stupid. I wouldn't just not buy one and when I pay for a full service, that's what I expect, including the test drive.
    3) You, me, the world and his pet tortoise all know I have a can of oil in the boot, you've used it before, so don't put your own oil in then charge me for it. If I wanted to give you nearly £14 for no good reason, I'd ask you to mug me on the way home.

Nice work on the handbrake though. That is all.

Grrrrr! Major PMT. And someone cut in front of the whole bus queue earlier. An old man as well. And there was me thinking the older generation had manners.

PS You can come out from hiding now, rant over. :D
