Had quite a result this week trying to cut back on monthly outgoings
Phoned BT and told them I wanted to switch from NTL as bills were getting higher and higher each month (with a plan to have BT line rental and then cheap call provider) Arranged everything for the switch-over.
About 4 days later got a call from NTL saying what a valued customer I was and how they would hate to lose me.
Offered me broadband, phone line rental and all UK daytime, evening and weekend calls for £24.99 a month!!!:j
Was chuffed:j
Broadband alone was costing us £17.99 a month alone!!
Was hanging on to Sky subscription in the hope of getting their free broadband service in a few months but can lose that now and just go onto freeview channels, saving another £15 a month!!!
That's a monthly saving of around £55!!!
This money saving things good innit!!!:T
