Just another shout for Woolies, Luton store has a large clearance section upstairs with various toys, games and some electricals reduced quite substantially in some instances.Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills. You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills...0

Often missed but dont forget the WHOLESALE section on e-bay. Can be excellent if you are buying for similar age groups...especially the HEALTH AND BEAUTY section for girls.

Noticed today that Claire's accessories have 10 for £5 on their sale items. My store had earrings, necklaces, bracelets, headbands, brushes and headscarves in this section. I got lots of lovely necklaces for 50 p each (should be £2.50) ideal for stocking fillers for young girls. Other sections have 3 items for £5.

Also, just back from Boots. If you have any gents to make baskets for then get to the sale area! They have Charles Worthington Shave Gel for £1 !! I bought 3 bottles and the face wash for £1.50...another 3 boughtThey are great big bottles and look soooooo good.

Thanks for the sticky! Hopefully we will all make some savings this Christmas (this is my frist proper MSE Christmas after the utter hell that was running round the shopping centre on Christmas Eve last year - NEVER again!)

Another tip is if you have your eye on something from Marks and Spencers find out where your local Marks and Spencers Outlet store is as they have big savings - same goes for Next. Generally they are in retail villages. A nice sunny, warm(ish!) stress free Christmas shopping day out in August!!!0
