Ideas for 40th anniversary including old photo's

I've spent the last 2 months secretly raiding mum and dads photo collection and scanning each one into my computer. Meaning I now have from their wedding (40 years ago) up until today in complete photographic record. I have all of our (I have 2 brothers) birthday parties, christenings, 18th's, graduation etc. I also have nearly every holiday they have taken together and with us.
The plan was to do a photo book with all these photos and I spent quite a while working on a photobox one (used them plenty of times), but due to the sheer quantity of photos (I managed to narrow it down to about 80 pages) it's going to cost me about £80
I simply can't afford this at the moment
I really want to do something with the pictures as it's taken ages and I'd like to think Mum and Dad will love the fact I've been so sneaky.
Anyone have any ideas? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and pay for it (and then struggle for the next few months).

how about a photomontage? i did this for my wedding. i bought a huge clip frame for about £15 from wilkinsons and cut around the people and important things on each photo and over layed them. i used print outs as well as glossy pics and they both looked good.0

You could make a slide show? Even just putting them together in an album would be lovely. Or, if you have time, how about a scrapbook?OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090

If you save the scans as Jpegs you could then print them out as photos (using photobox or snapfish etc) and then stick these 'photos' in a scrapbook?0

hi have you thought about splitting the cost with your brothers, or how about a ruby/red(40th anniversary is ruby) coloured digital photoframe that they could have playing in a room in the house,or a red digital photokeyring like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DIGITAL-PHOTO-FRAME-KEYRING-KEYCHAIN-RED-1-5-INCH-/150439134223?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Photography_DigitalCamAccess_RL&hash=item2306df040f
