Hi All
I have searched and couldn't find what I am looking for (Hope I'm not missing a trick, as that would be highly embarassing
:rotfl:)
I am wanting to replicate the peppered seasoning you get on peppered steaks, or pepper coated chicken? They sell peppered chicken on the bone in my butchers and it is delectable
Months ago the butcher gave me some of the seasoning and it has been in the cupboard ever since. I used some today to coat a chicken breast and it is devine!:j I know it doesn't contain breadcrumbs or anything perishable.
Has anyone any idea what I am on about, or how to replicate it? It was in a box with my Star anise, so it smells of that and I genuinely can't work it out
It is spicy.
Thanks if anyone can help:j:D

I did a google and found this http://www.hugs.org/Seasoned_Pepper.shtml

Have you asked your butcher? As he was willing to give you some of the seasoning, he may be willing to tell you what is in it, or if he buys it in what make it is which would make searching for a recipe easier if the one given by Sherlock. isn't to your taste.0
