Hi everyone, just to say - I have a referral email from p1necone so if anyone would like it, pm me. I don't gain anything from it, but they are probably the best paying survey site so well worth trying to get in to.

I've had a very expensive week as I had to buy a new wedding dress - why didn't I know wedding dresses in a 12 were actually a size 10? Who would know that? So I lost the weight to get into my dress and then realised its a size smaller still. I don't want to be a 10, its not my shape, I think I would look poorly if I lost much more weight. So I went and bought another dress - bespoke, expensive but amazing!:D I think I deserve it after the year I've had.

I didn't know that about wedding dress sizing - How wierd is that? (I got married in a Registry Office). Good for you for treating yourself to an amazing dress - you really deserve it. And very sensible to stick at a size you look and feel good at rather than let a dress dictate what size you should be. I'm really pleased for you. :)

OK Purple, I am declaring my total for May as will not have any more coming in this month

Drum roll pleeeeeeease - my GRAND TOTAL for MAY is ...... wait for it ..... £522.85 - which is a little bit more than my original target, isn't it.

And as you will see I have set my target already for June at £15 per day as we have an unexpected holiday coming up on 25th July so will be beavering away on eBay, surveys, clicks, and anything else I can do to save up for our kennel fees, travel costs, overnight accommodation and clothes/spending money - the holiday is all paid for as we are going as guests of my cousin so that will be all we need to cover ourselves. We are trying to take as much spending money as we can as it is a luxury trip but envisage bringing alot of it back and that will then be paid off some of our debts

See you all next month on the new thread then - bye bye -TTFN

Mmmmmmm don't know whether to add this or not as a saving - perhaps writing it down will add clarity. Soooooo out on a 'budgeted-for soiree' last night (total spend £15) I happen to win a crate of B*dweiser for the princely sum of £1 (which was included in the £15 spends!) Now don't like the stuff myself - and am also trying to cut down on alcohol - so thinking I will take it to friends tomorrow as donation for curry night. Now as I would usually take perhaps 2 bottles of wine at say £8 total - have I not saved this amount minus my £1 stake so to speak?! Yes I am convinced - down it goes and £7 for me please :rotfl:
and on that last admittedly quite dodgy ditch attempt - am officially declaring May a triumph and will see you all in June
