Hi everyone,
Hope all is ok
I have updated my sig to include the carboot we did last week (£79.50) and a little stash of 50p's I have saved up over the week in my little jam jarFor the first time in AGES I've already exceeded my target, maybe I cheated a bit meanings as I set a low target to avoid disapointment!
Purple, tomorrow is DS's birthday party and we're taking him and a few school friends bowling, then I want ALL my housework done because Sunday is apprently going to be 27 degrees and I want to be out in the garden all day with the kids
Good news came this week re the accident DS had at school, the council have accepted liability so the Solicitor says we are looking at a pay out of around £1000 :-O
It's DS's money for going through what he did bless his heart, so we're going to buy both kids some new (and desperately needed) curtains and then we're going to put the rest in his bank account for when he gets older.
I got a bit sad when the letter came through as it brought the whole thing back to me and I couldn't believe a price had been put on it, but then what did I expect when the school actually told us to sue the council and we did? So it's sort of our own fault. I'm sure DS will be very grateful when he reaches 17/18 and he's got a little savings account with some pennies in for a little car or something.
