Would this be allowed to count as money made? My DH gave me £122 tonight, as he won on the horseys on Friday and we had a good day at Wembley, so he gave it to me. Good timing actually, it will help with bills! :)

PS Reason I am asking, he does not normally give me money towards bills. We each pay certain things in household.

I would definitely count it Aureol - congratulations to you & husband on the win...:T

Debtbegone - Your post made me laugh & has inspired me to get some of my " treasures" out of the loft...

  • Excellent news - thanks Aureol:T.

That means I can add £37 and £16.50 to my total - so that's a further £53.50 to add - yippee!! That's really bumped it up for me this month.:)

:D It really has been some of the most random stuff that's sold! Things that I though "ach I'll give it a whirl at 99p start price" and they've sold for over a tenner!

Going to get down to some more ebaying after dinner tonight :)

Would you mind telling us what kind of random things? Have heard someone say this before, that people will buy the strangest things on ebay, so worth digging out and listing.

Or would you PM if you prefer?

    Thanks

£15 received from MS, and found 1p on floor. Work underpaid me! gRRRRRRRRRRRRR

only found out today when I found payslip on desk, not happy, as think they should keep it until I get to work, to give it to me. I know it was in a brown sealed envelope but still!

Then the Director came in to see me to discuss the underpayment in front of my colleagues, really didn't want that!

aureol have you read the "things I never thought i'd sell" thread. its amazing what random things people have sold on ebay!
the random things i've sold are broken portable dvd player, broken accordian, empty glass (unbranded) perfume bottle, paper bags from various shops... you never know until you try!

I have £10 to add today, sold a voucher to a friend
