As a first option - How much is the virgin credit limit? how long have you had it?
If it is of a sufficent limit you could ask virgin if they will give you an existing customer promotional deal to get a 0% deal for 12months (or see how long they will give you).
If you actually need the money in cash (rather than being able to pay with a credit card) you would need to money balance transfer to your current account (4% fee I think) and would need the deal to be 0% on transfers.
If you can make the purchase by credit card you would need a 0% deal on purchases.
If you want to go this route phone up and ask what deals they have currently (you may need to say you are thinking of closing the account if there are no deals).
If that won't work for your circumstances then either try your own bank for a loan or look here for info and the best buys http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/cheap-personal-loans?dd (it suggests sainsburys for a £3k loan)A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
