just Phoned sky threatening to cancel telling them that I had been offered by NTL there full package ..Plus an extra box in my Daughters room for £50 A month with free install by nTL Engineer and of course no charge for the extra box..Could they beat it or at least match it I asked as my 12 months is up, well to cut a long story short as im alreay a movie and sports customer I have secured a free sky+ box with free install for both my old box in my daughters room and the new sky + in my living room...Half price for 6 months @£21.75 + £10 for the multiroom then 6 Months @ £43.50 + £10 For Multiroom...And yes I must confess the NTL price I said I was quoted was a small white lie ..Also to make things even better I didnt pay for the call...I hope this is of some use to someone....

No its a non contractual (spelling ?) offer so can cancel at any time ...You must use the word cancel though before they will pffer you anything worth your while...

I am on my 4th offer of half price for 3 months - so have had it half price for a year now - time to make that phonecall again I think.......Did phone telewest re broadband and phone package ( I am on £61 for top bb and call package) told them I was going to sky - they have reduced my package by £36 per month for next 3 months!

I couldn't afford Sky Sports anymore, so phoned up to cancel. Offered me Sky Sports for £4 p/m for 3 months, on top of the basic package

When you said cancel - did you communicate to Sky that you were going to cancel your whole subscription or just your Sky Sports subscription?

I'm currently on a £21 package after previously having a discounted sports package for 3 months (after telling them I wanted to cancel) and once that ran it's cause they range me and offered me another deal for 3 months.

I'm considering canceling as I have internal freeview on my TV but if I could get another deal would consider staying with them, is it worth ringing again to tell them I want to cancel ?
