My son has just won 8,000 euros on the spanish lottery,if he brings it back to the UK does he have to declare it to the Taxman and then pay tax on it.

However, it would be adviseable to keep proof that it was gambling winnings in case there is ever an enquiry.The only thing that is constant is change.0
