Your UK income needs usualy to be such that no more than 30% is taken by your current UK debts and mortgae. They tend to want Bank statements to check for sustainability.
Places like Bulgaria are very difficult now, afterall the the Austrian banks are being crippled by Bulgarian loans gone bad.0
