there is some asda pasta 500 g 2 for £1 however going throught the tills at only 58pence for 2

More evidence of Asda sneakily putting prices UP!!

They used to do these quite regularly "on offer" for £4.

Someone in marketing, probably the same person who upped their wine offer of 3 for a tenner to 3 for £12 - thought - if we promote it and make out the RRP means something, people won't notice us massively INCREASING prices.

It may be a good deal but for months this has kept appearing for £4 not a fiver!! We always bought it as at 25p a roll it was a good deal. Not so great at 31.6p a roll.

Lidl do 9 quality rolls for around £1.95

All I can say is one persons rip off is another persons bargain.

I have NEVER EVER been able to get the £4 Andrex deal in my ANY of the Asdas near me.....
Plus, there are no Lidls near me.....only Aldis,
So for me this is a bargain - better than the Somerfield/Co-op offer.

By the bye,
I got 3 for £10 on White Grenach ( my favourite:p) a while ago at Asda.
I also managed to stock up on some very decent wines at £2 a bottle last year.
I bought whole cases for family and friends who couldn't get into store;)
I can only afford to indulge when it is on this type of offer........ so I'm not complaining at Asda
