cd wow - Tax? / customs

I am thinkin about buyin a dvd boxset from cdwow and with the £1 evoucher i intend to use the total will be £18.99 but i was reading somewhere that you will get taxed on anything over £18 but somewhere else i read that you wouldnt be charged. After looking on their website i am now very confused.
Thankyou, any advice is appreciated.

Just to confirm the above. I have bought a box set from them and e mailed them this very question. They replied that all taxes are definitely paid upfront.
