Our local ASDA had packs of 12 tins of heinz beans for £4 yesterday.
Works out to 34p a can. Slightly more expensive (2p a can) than the morrisons deal but handy if Asda is your local store.

I'm not surprised they're trying to shift Heinz beans (and Heinz is advertising heavily on all their products) as the cans are really full of ' watery juice' these days. I prefer Branston by far and if not them then Asda's own low-sugar.

I think Heinz are realising people aren't prepared to pay over the odds just for the name.

You can get 4 cans of of Crosse and Blackwell spaghetti or beans in Iceland for a pound - permanent offer.
Asda are also doing this as a promo.
I can't taste any difference - Baked beans are baked beans to me unless the really cheap ones or the disgusting reduced salt and sugar.

I usually buy supermarket own brand beans, but take advantage of deals on Heinz beans as my son is a big fan.Personally a baked bean is a baked bean to me and I can't tell the difference like some people.
  • I'll eat any type of beans but my oh has to have heinz so this works out a fab deal for him, thanks for posting.

Tesco own brand (not the cheapies) are half price, 84p for a 4 pack (420g). We like these better than Heinz although you need a tin opener as they do not have a ring pull.
