Yes mine arrived too, we used L & C previously and recommended them to several people. I often get asked about (re)mortgages by my friends so I thought it would come in handy.;)
Thanks very much.0 -
I'm moving this to the Mortgages board as I think it is more suited to there0

Got my book, also used Martins article regarding MPPI, Income protection and life assurance.
I've made huge savings. Used https://www.Helpupay - excellent
and https://www.theidol.com - excellent
I've saved approx £80 per month just by reassessing my outgoings
Thanks Martin!!0 -
I got 2, one from L&C and one from CavendishonlineYou'll Never Be Rich Working for Someone Else0

I must say I am getting a bit fed up of Martin's shameless promotion of one particular mortgage broker, and this little book is just another example. I happen to be in the same business as an independant. I have never charged fees for the work that I do and source from the entire mortgage market. I do not filter out any lender depending on commission and my prime concern is getting the best deal for my client. I am a member of all of the major mortgage clubs, and have access to many exclusives. I have many friends who are also independant brokers, who operate along the same lines. The idea that one particular broker has more "pull" with the lender is patently absurd. While I agree with much of the advice that you have given in the past, which is why I enjoy logging on to your site, and have directed many clients to your website for good ideas, I think you have done a disservice to many good brokers such as myself. By all means clients should ask if a broker sources from the whole market, and if he charges fees. They should also shop around and compare quotes. But to suggest that they go to a broker for advice and then give the business to a lender that you are personally promoting is simply unfair in the extreme.0
