    Hi,
I have a disabled sister (aged 37) who still lives with my parents but spends weekends with me sometimes to give my parents a break - I live 3 hrs away so it's difficult to gte more involved. When it becomes too much for my parents, as they are not getting any younger, she will come to live with me.
I know how isolated you can feel and how scary it all is sometimes but it's worth it to see them happy. I don't want to sound like a martyr cos sometimes it's flipping hard work and you get fed up just like everyone else.

Just wanted to say that you're not on your own and if ever you want to have a rant or just talk about something else for a change I'm usually here or you can PM me.

You're doing a great job - keep it up!
    Good luck
    Rachel.
